What we most long for—unconditional acceptance, comfort, and love—has always been within us

We live in a world that pathologizes pain and equates worth with productivity. I hope to create a space to slow down and explore ways of feeling, thinking, and relating that aren't driven by urgency or avoidance, but by curiousity and care.

We’ll learn how your nervous system has learned to adapt, which means honouring what you’ve been through, but no longer being defined by it. We’ll explore what living in joy, authenticity, and alignment with your values means. Because healing does not have a clear finish line where you feel "done", there is just more flexibility and empathy for yourself over time.

My work is grounded in existential, relational, and non-pathologizing principles. Therapy is not about “fixing” you because you are not defective. Instead of asking “What is wrong with me?”, I will challenge you to reflect on “What has happened to you? How did it affect you? How have you learned to cope with it? How do you want to live differently now?”

I lean on modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS),
Dialectical Behaviour, Somatic Experiencing, Compassion-Focused, and Attachment Theory.

While I no longer offer couples therapy, I am trained in The Gottman Method Level 1 and find value in applying its interventions in individual therapy in helping them build meaningful relationships and friendships.

Available virtually or in person on Sundays.
Standard 50-minute sessions are $175. Extended 65-minute sessions are $220.
I offer sliding scale spots (reduced rates) for students, BIPOC individuals, and those in the LGBTQIA+ community.

Our Work Together

A therapist woman sitting on a beige couch, holding an open notebook and pen, smiling at the camera, with glasses resting on her head and earrings.

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent almost a decade working in Human Resources in startups, tech companies, and small businesses. My roles were always centred on supporting people, but over time, I began to question the limits of doing that work inside corporate-like systems. I was searching for more meaningful impact; I learned that I wanted to sit with people’s lived experiences, not just their workplace challenges.

As a child of immigrants, I grew up navigating different cultural expectations and intergenerational trauma. As someone with late-diagnosed ADHD, I understand the experience of moving through life with chronic self-doubt and shame. As a woman, I am passionate about working with other female-presenting individuals who struggle with body image, self-worth, and internalized patriarchal narratives.

My goal as a therapist is to create a space where you can be witnessed and empowered to reconnect with parts of yourself that have been suppressed. I know how difficult it is to feel lost, but wanting to live authentically. I hope to be a pillar of support as you live with intention and in alignment with who you truly are.

If you ever want a break from the tough stuff, I can talk on end about dessert, bulldogs, sources of protein, live music in Toronto, and K-Dramas!
